Gold Medal Winners in 40th ACM-ICPC at Shenyang, Asia

The 40th ACM-ICPC at Shenyang , Asia was held in Northeast University, October 24-25, 2015. 162 teams from 111 universities competed for 17 gold, 34 silver and 51 bronze medals. Among the gold medal winners are Shao Jiejing, Wang Xintian and Guo Lanzhe from Jilin University, with JLU taking the 8th place.

 

Beihang University took the first place, and Harbin Institute of Technology, Peking University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Sun Yat-Sen University Fudan University and Fuzhou University took the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th respectively.

 

The ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world, operating under the auspices of Association for Computing Machinery. It needs good teamwork to solve problems and ability to withstand pressure to win, which is hailed as Olympic in computer software.
