Bo Yang is currently a professor in the College of Computer Science and Technology, Jilin University. He is currently the director of Key Laboratory of Symbolic Computation and Knowledge Engineer, Ministry of Education, China. He ever visited several universities and labs as a research fellow or visiting scholar including Computer Science Departments at Hong Kong Baptist University from 2005 to 2006, at Warwick University from 2006 to 2007, at George Mason University from 2014 to 2015, and so on. His current research interests are in the areas of data mining, complex/social network modeling and analysis, multi-agent systems. He is currently working on the topics of discovering structural and dynamical patterns from largescale and time-evolving networks with applications to Web intelligence, recommender systems and early detection/control of infectious events.
He has served as the associated editors and peer reviewers for international journals including Web Intelligence and served as the senior PC or PC members for international conferences including IJCAI and AAMAS.
