Research direction: He has been conducting research of database and data mining. His current research interests include
Education experience: He received his bachelor and master's degree in Nanjing University and the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985 respectively. He went to Jilin University and received his Ph.D. degree.
Research project: He has led four NSFC projects, one National "863" plan project and one National Technology-support project and other ten projects supported by Ministry of Science, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Security.
Papers: He has published more than 120 papers on journals and international conferences.
Book & teaching material He has published the book "Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery".
