In December 2003, he graduated from Jilin University and received his Ph.D., and later joined Computer Graphics and Digital Media Lab, College of Computer Science and Technology. He was promoted to professor in September 2006, then in June 2012 to doctoral supervisor.
From February 2005 to October 2007, he worked as a postdoctoral at postdoctoral mobile research station of computer software and theory, Jilin University; From October 2007 to October 2008, he was a visiting scholar at Arizona State University, USA. |

At present, he is a council member of China Computer Federation; a member of CAD/CG professional committee, China Computer Federation; a member of Geometric Design and Computing professional committee, China Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics; an editor of Computer Aided Drafting, Design and Manufacturing journal; the Secretary-General of Jilin Province Computer Federation. He served as program committee member for some computer graphics-related international and domestic conferences. |
