Network and Information Security Experiment

The application of computer security and network security principles to analyze and solve the security problems is an important skill for security professional students. Most content of network and information security close to practice and wide coverage, students are not easy to grasp only through theory teaching. Network and Information Security Experiment is a compulsory course of Network and Information Security professional. It is a basic practice curriculum to meet the need of computer application talents in information security field.

Network and Information Security Experiment based on the characteristics of security courses, emphasizing the combination of theory and practice. This course aims at fostering the initiative and practical ability of students. The content of the course includes 12 experiments such as applied cryptography, digital hiding, security audit, host security, buffer overflow principle, networking attack, firewall and so on. Each experiment contains several exercises, and the students complete every exercise through group cooperation.

All in all, by the practice of a series of experiments, the students can understand and grasp the theoretical knowledge of computer security and network security.
