As one of the most important research directions, the main research interests of software engineering at Jilin University are trusted computing, software architecture centric internet ware technology, cloud service development and management in cloud computing environment, software security engineering, component technology, software reuse and service oriented architecture, software maintenance and dynamic evolution, software refactoring, object-oriented software testing, agent based software development, software engineering environment and computer aided software engineering, semantic web technology, automatic semantic annotation, and information integration, etc..

In recent years, members of this group have accomplished 4 National Key Problem Projects and National Natural Science Foundation Projects, and have published more than 60 papers in national core journals or international conference proceedings.
