计算机辅助几何设计》课程介绍

 

《计算机辅助几何设计》是计算机科学与技术专业的专业选修课,它是为满足计算机图形学、游戏动画、机械制造等领域对计算机应用人才的需要而设置的,是一门实用性很强的课程。

通过本课程的学习,学生将做到:

1.了解现代曲线、曲面造型的基本方法和发展趋势。

2.理解和掌握参数曲线、曲面的基本原理、算法,尤其是非均匀有理B样条曲线、曲面的基本算法。

3.通过理论学习和上机实践,使学生能够熟练地运用非均匀有理B样条曲线、曲面的基本算法进行曲线、曲面设计、生成和修正。

4. 使学生具有利用常用的计算机辅助几何设计软件(AutoCAD,ProE)等进行初步的曲线、曲面造型设计能力。

课程内容涉及参数曲线、曲面的基本理论,Bézier曲线、曲面,B样条曲线、曲面,工程中的参数曲线、曲面造型与软件等。

通过本课程的学习,使学生掌握针对计算机辅助设计的实际应用领域如汽车、飞机的覆盖件模具设计,能够依据相关参数曲线、曲面的基本原理、算法, 分析和解决初步的设计问题。

 

The introduction of course ---Computer Aided Geometric Design

The computer aided geometric design is an optional specialty course of Computer Science and Technology; this course is provided for the need of the computer application talents in computer graphics, game and animation, mechanism manufacturing fields, which is a practical course.

Through this course, students will learn:

1 . Understanding the basic methods and current trends of curve and surface modeling in these days.

2. Master the basic theory of parametric curve and surface, especially the algorithms related to non-uniform rational B-spline curve and surface.

3. By learning the theory and making practical exercises, the students can smoothly do work on the design, generation and modification of curves and surfaces, using the algorithms on non-uniform rational B-spline curve and surface.

4. Obtain the ability of designing curves and surfaces using the popular software on CAGD, e.g. AutoCAD, ProE and so on.

The course contents related to basic theories of parametric curve and surface, Bezier curve and surface, B-spline curve and surface, software on parametric curve and surface modeling in engineering, etc.

By studying this course, the students can grasp the basic theory and knowledge of parametric curve and surface and the ability of designing module in the CAGD related fields such as corvering of automobile and airplane.
